Our new native multiflora bouquet is here. This bouquet features pohutukawa and kowhai flowers, in bold and vibrant colours. We have crafted these miniature objets d'art to represent native flora of Aotearoa. Each of these flowers has been crafted to resemble realistic pohutukawa and kowhai, by paying attention to detail and achieving textures using complex techniques and shades by combining multiple glass colours.
This listing contains a total of six flowers: three kowhai and three pohutukawa.
Under the high heat of a specialised torch, glass has been melted and sculpted into flowers and leaves, through the process of lampwork. Complex techniques have been used to form realistic forms. Every piece has been made by Selma in her studio.
Pohutukawa flowers measure around 20mm x 30mm wide and kowhai flowers are approximately 30mm long and 20mm wide. The copper stems/ wires and are approximately 9cm long. Please note the vase is not included.
